Vicente Gomez went to his heavenly home on August 9, 2022. He was born on January 22, 1928, in Zaragoza, Mexico, to Pedro Gomez and Guadalupe Flores. He was one of twelve children. On September 25, 1955, Vicente married Antonia Palomino. They had eight children and enjoyed 60 years together. Vicente worked for many years as a mechanic. Browsing through junkyards and looking for old cars, tools, or any kind of parts was his passion. He was a great mechanic and there wasn’t a car he couldn’t make run. Once he purchased a vehicle for $10 that was ready for the junkyard. He fixed it and used it for many years! It even had a great AC. Vicente had a great sense of humor and a love for learning, reading, and music. He was a self-taught musician learning to play various instruments by ear. He also invented several gadgets always looking to see if could patent something.

Vicente is preceded in death by his wife Antonia Gomez; his parents, Pedro and Guadalupe Gomez; brothers Jose Maximino Gomez, Carlos Gomez, Genaro Salvador Gomez, Reynaldo Gomez, Amador Gomez; sisters Eva Vara, Amalia Gomez, Luz Rodriguez, and Enrriqueta Valdez.
