The Reagan county Tennis team traveled to Fort Stockton on February 23-24 to compete in the Fort Stockton Tennis Tournament.

For the first time since 2006, and the fourth time in program history, the Reagan County Owls are in the Regional Basketball Tournament. The Owls punched their ticket to the Sweet 16 with a 79-51 win over Seagraves on Friday and a 71-58 win over Plains Tuesday night.

Reagan County’s Powerlifting Program has seven lifters representing the Blue and Gold this Friday at the Region 1-1/2A Meet in Shamrock, Texas.

The Reagan County Owls put on a show Tuesday night as they played host to Water Valley on Senior Night. The tradition of honoring our seniors and their parents was held between the girls and boys game, but what happened between tip-off and the final buzzer of the Owls’ 95-22 win will be something the Reagan County seniors hold in their memories for the rest of their lives.

The Reagan County Owls notched their 25th consecutive district win Tuesday night with their 90-36 road win over Sonora. The streak runs back to the Owls’ 2020-21 season when the team dropped an early district game against Crane at home on January 15, 2021.

The Reagan County Powerlifting program has started their lifting season out strong with solid performances at the McCamey and Coahoma Powerlifting meets. The boys placed 2nd as a team at both the McCamey and Coahoma meets. The girls placed 3rd as a team at both the McCamey and Coahoma meets.

The Reagan County Owls traveled to Lubbock at the end of last week to take part in the 63rd Annual Caprock Classic tournament. “We were in the more difficult bracket for the boys,” Head Coach Kyle Brown said. “It was a mixture of UIL and TAPPS teams. Our boys played against extremely tough competition, and made an impressive run.”

Brylee McKay brought home the gold from the 2022 USATF National Junior Olympic Cross Country Meet held in Bryan-College Station on Saturday.

The Reagan County Owls are well represented on the District 3-2A All-District Team with 16 selections receiving 23 honors.

The Reagan County Lady Owls placed seven on the District 4-2A All-District Volleyball Team.

The Reagan County Owls know one thing for sure... After their 46-6 win over Anthony on Friday, the Owls are heading to the playoffs. That is where the certainty ends. As of today, the Owls can enter the playoffs anywhere from the second seed to the fourth seed depending on how things shake out on Friday.

Reagan County’s Julian Rodriguez took fourth place at the Region 1-2A Cross Country Meet securing his spot at the State Meet. Rodriguez finished the course at Mae Simmons Park in Lubbock on Monday with a time of 17:25.8 behind a group of runners from Plains.

The Reagan County Lady Owls recognized its seven seniors Saturday prior to their game against Roscoe.

The Reagan County Owls moved to 2-1 in district play with a dominating 39-7 win over Ozona on Friday.

The Reagan County Owls won their first district game of the season Friday night behind a stellar defensive performance. The 24-21 win over Sonora marks the first win for Reagan County over the Broncos in the last 11 attempts.

The Reagan County Owls hosted the Sonora Broncos last Thursday, to continue their district schedule and looked to get their first district win. The Owls were locked in on both sides of the ball from the opening kickoff, resulting in a 26-0 win, in favor of the Owls.

Reagan County will be well represented at the TAAF State Track Meet on July 21-24 in Corpus Christi.

Reagan County High School has four graduates that will represent the Blue and Gold at the next level.
