FBI: Beware of ‘Juice Jacking’ Trick

The FBI office in Denver warned consumers on Monday to avoid charging their cell phones and other devices at public charging stations such as those in airports, shopping malls and other places where large groups of people gather.

The warning referred to “juice jacking,” a criminal process where phones can be infected with malware.
