Barbara Williams, 93, of Big Lake passed peacefully on Sunday, November 20, 2022. Graveside service will be Wednesday, November 23, 2022, 2.p.m. at Glen Rest Cemetery in Big Lake.
Mrs. Williams was born October 21, 1929, in Baytown, Texas. She is preceded in her death by husband Sam Williams, daughters Scharla Comeaux and Nancy Hayes-Pellerin; brothers August Jr. and Robert “Bobby” Teschendorf; and parents August and Jeannette Teschendorf.
She is survived by her son Jody Garber and his wife Debbi of Big Lake, and stepson Rodney Williams and his wife Vicki of Columbus, Ohio; stepdaughter Carolyn Corbin and her husband Randy of Christoval, Texas; her grandchildren who she adored being their “MeMe” – Trish Gray of San Antonio, Texas; Jacob Garber-Stava and husband Chuck of Houston, Texas; Jason Satterwhite and wife Lona of San Angelo, Texas; Monica Landry and husband Anthony of Jennings, Louisiana; Melissa Meaux and husband Keith of Breaux Bridge, Louisiana; Mark Hayes, Mike Hayes and Russell Pellerin III of Lafayette, Louisiana; Charles Pellerin of Lafayette Louisiana; Eric Comeaux and wife Lisa of Vancleave, Mississippi; John Comeaux and wife Rachel of Lafayette, Louisiana; Rhonda Comeaux of Lafayette, Louisiana; and many great grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Larry Heintzelman, Mark Noland, Wade Daugherty, Landon Goodgoin, Carl Baker and James Phillips. Honorary Pallbearers will be Rodney Williams, Tim Sellman, Jack Blakely, Mike Schwertner, and Mike George.
Donations in her memory may be made to Meals on Wheels or to Reagan County Care Center. Barbara’s family would like to express appreciation and gratitude for the wonderful care that she received by the Reagan County Care Center.
