Cynthia Lea “Cyndy” Browne, 56 of Big Lake, formerly of Colorado City passed away at her home on the ranch on Sunday October 30, 2022.

She was born on July 6, 1966 in Big Lake the daughter of O.W. Parker and Cathryn Cope Kessler.

Cyndy was a country woman through and through, she loved her life on the ranch, being around all the animals. She enjoyed spending every day with family and friends with all the beauty of the land around her. She worked for many years as a Paramedic for Shannon Hospital, Sterling City, and Colorado City before retiring to the ranch with her family. In her spare time she loved to read, spending time with her dogs and sugar gliders, doing almost anything wither her family and spending time with her grandchildren. In her younger days she even rode dirt bikes, but as she got older would rather be on four wheels. The memories made with her, the warm embraces, and the smooth graceful dances shared will be cherished by all who loved her.

Cyndy is survived by her husband Michael Browne of Big Lake, by her daughter Cady Kendrick and husband Chase of San Antonio, grandchildren Cody and Anna Kendrick, and by her mother Cathryn Cope Kessler of Big Lake. She is also survived by her brother Cope Kessler and wife Angela of the Minneola area, by several nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends.

She was preceded in death by her son Cody Browne, her father O.W. Parker and stepfather James Kessler

A graveside service for Cyndy will be held at the Cope Ranch Cemetery on the family ranch on Thursday, November 3rd at 1pm.
