City Receives Leak Study Results
30 leaks detected in $32,000 survey
The Big Lake City Council received the final report from Samco Leak Detection Services Tuesday night from a leak survey conducted on the city’s water system.
The study found 30 leaks in the system including eight that they considered critical.
“Even though they are listed as critical there is nothing on the list that can’t be repaired by city employees,” City Secretary Evelyn Ammons said. “We will begin making the repairs immediately, and most of it should be done fairly quick.”
