Filing for City of Big Lake’s May election will begin on Wednesday, January 17th and run through February 16th.
There are three seats up for election this year.
Those seats include the Mayor position, currently held by David Melms, and two City Council At-Large positions, currently held by Cindy O’Bryan and Larry Hallmark.
Those interested in filing for a place on the ballot can do so by picking up an application at City Hall (203 N Plaza Avenue, Big Lake, TX) beginning January 17th.
City Hall will be open Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to Noon and 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. It will be open on Fridays from 7 a.m. to Noon and 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.
